Elyse Weadock

Elyse Weadock lives in New York City and Sundance, Utah. Her greatest passion is to be outdoors where she is captivated by nature’s artistry. Elyse’s desire is to share the simple beauty she encounters. Reflected in her work is the vital essence and sincere emotions of her experiences within the natural world.

Elyse’s images share the magical moments she discovers. Drawn to the intrigue of the abstract offered by reflections and shadows, she also seeks out the fascinating detail and clarity of a micro view. The result is a stimulating mix of color, shape and texture.

Elyse has studied at I.C.P. in Manhattan and has participated in photographic workshops around the country. In 2009 she won a seat on the national Aperture Nature Photography Workshop contest. Elyse sits on the Board of NYC SALT, a nonprofit photography program serving inner city teenagers in New York City.
